Every year, FABA organizes events that raise funds to purchase and deliver snacks four times a school year, costing about $1,000 each time. Thanks to partnerships with local businesses like Ingles in Mills River, the program secures snacks at the most reasonable cost, maximizing the impact of every dollar donated. Your participation and donations make a real difference, allowing us to reach more students and foster a community where no child goes hungry during school hours.

In the heart of Henderson County, the Fletcher Area Business Association (FABA) has taken a bold step to combat child hunger with its innovative Snack Pack Program. With nearly 55% of elementary and middle school students eligible for Free & Reduced Meals, the need for additional nutritional support is critical. The Snack Pack Program is dedicated to filling this gap by providing nutritious snacks to students at seven area schools, ensuring they have the energy to learn and succeed.
