Universal Health Care- Fletcher

Lynn is the Admissions Coordinator at Universal Health Care Fletcher and has been in the retirement/nursing home industry for over 25 years with a focus on Business Office Management, Marketing and Census Development. In addition to FABA, Lynn is an active member of the Hendersonville Kiwanis Club, Vice-President of the Fletcher Arts and Heritage Association, Henderson County Toy Run Executive Committee and also serves as a founding member of Project We Care Henderson which helps provide the means for seniors of Henderson County to live comfortably in their homes. Lynn holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration; graduating Cum Laude from Montreat College School for Professional and Adult Studies in 2003. She is also a member of Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities and the Pinnacle Honors’ Society. Lynn is a 5th generation native of Henderson County, and lives on the family farm in with her husband Darrell.

Jared began his career with Carolina Living Insurance in 2014. He is a 2003 graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Political Science. After dedicating himself to a variety of careers, Jared found himself working as an insurance agent for N.C. Farm Bureau. Jared worked with a wide variety of clients during his first few years as an insurance advisor. He realized working with an independent company, like Carolina Living Insurance, would allow him to represent several insurance companies and provide his clients with the choices they need and the value they deserve.Jared holds his Property & Casualty, Life, Accident & Health, Medicare Supplement and Long Term Care Insurance licenses.

Jared’s dedication extends to the local community. He is a Board member of the Fletcher Area Business Association and was President of the Mills River Elementary School PTO.  Being an Eagle Scout, he volunteers helping the local Boy Scouts of America District.  Jared is a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Brevard, NC.  He grew up on Long Island, NY but is proud to call western North Carolina home.

Jared resides in Hendersonville, NC with his wife, Jenny, and their two children, Jamie and Jonah. Outside the office, Jared enjoys fishing, hiking, cooking with his wife, and spending time with his children.

Michelle Tracz, CPA

Michelle Tracz is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with over 20 years’ experience encompassing public accounting, internal auditing and compliance, and financial management in manufacturing and not for profit industries. In April 2012, Michelle started her own accounting and consulting practice. The firm specializes in assisting small to mid-sized businesses, for profit and not for profit, to help them meet their accounting and financial reporting needs, as well as fill gaps in staffing. Michelle and her team assist business owners, CFO’s, Executive Directors, Controllers, and Board Members by providing Contract Controller, Accounting/Bookkeeping, and Consulting services including assistance with sourcing, set-up, and implementation of accounting systems, internal controls review and assessment, strategic organizational development, and HR processes and documentation.

Michelle is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the North Carolina Association of CPA’s (NCACPA), where she also sits on the NCACPA Members in Business & Industry committee and the Fraud Conference Committee. During her spare time, Michelle volunteers for On-Track Financial Education and Counseling, is a Board Member of the Asheville Jewish Business Forum, is the outgoing Treasurer for Jewish Family Services of WNC, and the new Treasurer for the Fletcher Area Business Association. Michelle has two children: Jeremy, who is a freshman at NC State University; and Darby, who is a freshman at Carolina Day School in Asheville. When Michelle is not busy raising her two teenage children, she enjoys running for exercise, traveling around the world, and baking for holidays, birthdays and on cold winter weekends at home. Michelle and her family live in Fletcher.

David’s parents & family has been here in Asheville since 1974. David is a graduate of T. C. Roberson High School, and also went to AB-Tech College locally. David has served in the U.S. Air Force for 9 years, he worked in the Accounting & Finance Section. David is an Independent Associate with LegalShield,for many years, working with Small Business Owners mostly in the Henderson & Buncombe Counties offering Legal Access to Law Firms & more. and David is also an Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist. David is married to the wonderful Michelle Jordan, who works at Dana Elementary School. They have 7 children, and one rabbit. Only Connor & Chloe, are living at home, twins at Apple Valley Middle School.

In addition to FABA, David is active with the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce, serving as an Ambassador, for the last 8 years. David enjoys serving with Boy Scout Troop 21, as an volunteer, has worked with Manna Food Bank, is an active serving as an Elder of his local church & congregation. Some of the things David enjoys, is first his family, church, eating Southern and other types of food, college football, and college basketball. He is big on helping small businesses succeed and helping them network together.

I am a Commercial Sales Representative for Morris Broadband, where I have worked since 2009. My wife, Lilly, and I relocated to Henderson County in 1985 from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. From 1985 – 2008, I worked for Glatfelter at the Ecusta Paper Mill in Pisgah Forest, starting as a Main Frame Computer Operator and advancing into Customer Service and Commercial Sales. I believe that the strength of our economy is in our small businesses and business owners.

I live in Mills River with my wife Lilly, and our son Tony, a senior at Western Carolina University. We enjoy listing to live music, golfing, camping, downhill skiing and canoeing our beautiful rivers.

Mark has served as Town Manager for the Town of Fletcher since January of 2006. As Town Manager, he is responsible for managing the day-to-day affairs of the various services that the Town provides for its residents. Prior to coming to Fletcher Mark served as the County Manager in Gates County, North Carolina. Mark has served on the FABA Board for over a year now and is very excited about the opportunities that are available for businesses to grow in the Fletcher community.

I am the husband of Joy and father of five daughters. I am the Director of Business and Services Training and Personal Enrichment classes at Blue Ridge Community College and serve as the Chair of the College’s Marketing and Web Committee. My education includes an MBA from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio and a BS in Zoology from The Ohio State University.

Previous work experience includes management consulting for AT Kearney and Coopers & Lybrand and Director of Sales and Marketing for Sara Lee Intimates. Additionally, I owned two Christian Bookstores and a church supply website for 14 years. Immediately prior to joining Blue Ridge, I served as Vice President of Marketing for a start-up division of Le Bleu, a mid-sized North Carolina Consumer Goods company.

Board experience includes six years with Associates in Christian Counseling in Winston-Salem (two years as Board Chair) and I currently serve on the Board of the Blue Ridge Center for Lifelong Learning, the Vision program for Henderson and Transylvania counties and Habitat for Humanity of Henderson County.

As the Owner of Incredible Towns and Asheville Mobile Marketing, it is my mission to help small businesses compete and thrive. In addition to being the Social Media Coordinator for FABA, I also fill that same role for the Madison County NC Chamber of Commerce. We also sponsor Business Networking Lunches twice a month to bring local business people together.

In my spare time (right?) we are avid rockhounds, foodies, and adventurers. This is why we moved to Western North Carolina many years ago!
